We are very pleased to confirm that we have already received more than 60 championship registrations by 6th January, which is well ahead of this time last year.
We encourage anyone who is intending to register for the REIS - Get Connected BTRDA Rally Series and/or the SWISHER MSA English Rally Championship to please do so as soon as possible.
Registration for the REIS - Get Connected BTRDA Rally Series and/or SWISHER MSA English Rally Championship costs 45 pounds for drivers and 35 pounds for co-drivers (or 70 pounds for joint crew registration) and includes full membership of the BTRDA (British Trial and Rally Drivers Association) for one year.
For competitors under 25 years of age who have not previously been a member of BTRDA, then membership and championship registration are free for the first year.
You can register on-line via the BTRDA membership system (click on BTRDA Membership) which allows you to pay with a credit or debit card. We encourage everyone to use this system because it speeds up the process. For those of you that used the system last year you just need to log in and select what you want for 2012. Of course we also take registrations by post to the BTRDA Membership Secretary Liz Cox and a registration form can be easily printed off via the 2012 Entry Form button.
We are also happy to take championship registrations at the BTRDA desk at signing on before each event but it is one less hassle for the competitor if you can do it in advance.
One good reason for registering early is so that you can receive the championship decals before the first event. We send out the championship decals to all the registered drivers approximately 8 days before the first event so that you can stick them on the car in comfort rather than at a cold Chepstow Racecourse. Also once you are registered you are included on the championship mailing list to receive championship bulletins / newsletters.
A 2012 championship leaflet is available to download in the Bulletins section
The first event in the 2012 championships is the GMF Wyedean Rally on Saturday 11th February. See the event link on the LHS menu. You can download the regulations / entry form from the event website and send them off to the Entries Secretary by 1st class post. This is always a very popular event so do not delay submitting your entry because they accept the first 140 crews on the first come basis.
